As part of a live brief with NE1 I was asked to study design, audience function and aesthetics to produce a fashion space concept to be used to promote the Bigg Market in a fresh light and to new audiences. The focus was to create an exciting visual and experiential installation concept which drew on the understanding of fashion and the cultural heritage.
Below is my concept proposal based on for a fashion space concept, communicated with the help of visuals, based on rigorous research and consideration of NE1’s aims and aspirations.
This work was then chosen to be displayed at Baltic39 Newcastle for Newcastle’s NE1 Bigg Ideas exhibition celebrating the past, present and future of the Bigg Market.
